About the role

As a Lead Salesforce Developer/Architect, you will play a central role in shaping how Enterprise solutions deliver impactful digital solutions for our clients. Your work isn’t limited to the Salesforce technology stack alone—you’ll collaborate with clients and colleagues to identify the best tools and technologies to solve underlying business challenges.

In your day-to-day, you’ll lead the design and development of solutions, often taking a hands-on approach. You’ll embrace both custom development and Salesforce’s low/no-code capabilities, depending on what best fits the problem. This role is versatile: you may advise on cloud transformations, modernize web applications, or craft long-term technical roadmaps to help clients make the most of their digital investments.

You will work with a team of talented professionals and as an agency, we cooperate with different clients across various business fields. This means you have options in terms of projects and technologies when you join Futurice. Depending on your skills, impact, and responsibilities, we can customize a role fitting for your learning goals and professional aspirations. You can work from Tampere or Helsinki.

Depending on your background and career goals, you may engage in tech advisory projects related to web app modernization and/or be part of the implementation teams supporting our clients in their cloud transformation initiatives with Salesforce. You understand how to create long-term technical roadmaps and select cost-efficient and suitable cloud components to maximize our clients’ investments.

What helps you succeed in this role?

You’re someone with a strong foundation in software development and Salesforce, combined with a desire to lead and inspire teams and clients. Key to your success:

• Technical Mastery: 5+ years of experience in software development, including hands-on work with Apex, JavaScript, and Salesforce Lightning Web Components. You’re comfortable with at least two major Salesforce clouds (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Industry Clouds, or Data Cloud) and understand their business applications.
• Architecture Thinking: You know how to design scalable, secure APIs and composable front-end solutions. You’ve tackled architecture paradigms like microservices and event-driven infrastructures, weighing tradeoffs to make the right calls.
• DevOps & Modern Practices: You have experience with Salesforce DevOps tools and processes, advocating for maintainability and efficiency throughout the development lifecycle.
• Business Impact: Beyond tech, you thrive in pre-sales and early project phases, guiding clients through technical roadmaps and inspiring teams with your approach. You communicate complex ideas clearly—whether in writing, conversation, or presentations.

Seen as a plus

• Knowledge and experience from Salesforce industry solutions and Data cloud
• Certification such as Salesforce Developer, architect, integration developer
• Experience with other enterprise technologies
• Experience in DevOps
• Agile experience, perhaps even working as a Scrum Master beside your other tasks

Compensation

Your complete compensation package will be discussed in detail during the recruitment process. Our salary model is designed to offer a range of levels based on three factors: skills, responsibilities and impact. During the initial interview round, we will discuss the salary range for this position. We offer a fixed salary with the possibility of performance-based bonuses and additional benefits.
